Vibrant Garden Makeover
This Grey Lynn garden celebrates abundance - a lush, flower-filled oasis surrounding a beautifully renovated villa and pool. Designed with curves, texture, and seasonal colour, the garden combines productivity and beauty, creating distinct yet connected spaces that invite exploration. From vibrant perennials and fruit trees to tropical calm around the pool, this design brings softness, life, and joy to every corner.
How we made it happen:
Transformed the front yard (above a septic tank) into a striking and welcoming space with spherical steel sculptures, native and pollinator-friendly plants, and repurposed railway sleepers
Designed the rear garden as a lush view from the kitchen and lounge, with three interlocking custom black powder-coated steel pots, an infinity bluestone stepper pathway, and mounded garden beds
Created a peaceful pool area with tropical planting including Ligularia and Chamaedorea palms - a calm contrast to the surrounding abundance
Reimagined the side garden into a show-stopping space with a curved raised steel bed, winding bluestone pathway, privacy trees, and a joyful mix of pinks, purples, and pops of yellow
Filled every area with layered planting, blending form, colour, and texture for a garden that feels vibrant, lived-in, and full of life
